How to succeed speaking part 2
.......................
what are the some of the DOS: that you want to do, and need to do of the speaking part,
1. Take notes/write key words
2. Cover every point
3. Point to point as you talk
4.Use personal experience or lie
5.Expand-use senses
6. Organize speech: introduction,body,conclusion
7. Imagine the object,person,place
8.Use introductory phrases-i want to talk about
9. Use transitions
10. Speak loudly.
Number one is very very important, take notes: you will be given one minute when you look at the question and you will be given a pencil and you can take notes,do it, take note. A lot of ielts students-i don't wanna take notes, it is waste of time. i know what i am going to say in my head, what happens is just speaking, they forget certain key points and they go off topic. They don't stay organized. So, your notes are very important because that keep you on topic and keep you organized.Another is very important-write key words, when you are making notes, don't bother writing sentences when you are going to say,you only have 1 minute. just write key words.Important words that help you what you want to remember what you want to say.It is very important to cover every point that is on the card.Talk point to point keeping finger on point that keep you in track and help what to say.Another, you will be asked about your own experiences-Describe like describe your teacher. It is good if you use your own experiences-but may be you never been to concert, may be you never been to sport event, questioned is asked, if this is the case,Lie,Make it up. If your friends tell a story, when you are in concert, steal friend's story. Its ok to lie, other people story on the ielts. The main thing is that you speak English. Next, expand the your answer-if it is asked, where was the museum located-Answer: the museum was in Toronto. It is very short answer. Expand it little longer.
Another is thing, that is good idea, because questions are often about describing, it is good to use senses, when you have to describe something, imagine in your mind-better objects,of the person.Next, organize your speech, this is must, some students on ielts, they talk and talk, but not organizations.it is very good to have organizations in introduction, body and conclusion.
Use introductory topic-like,i am going to talk about my teacher, family , the most precise objects in my life.Next important point-use transitions which help to organize what you are going to say, like first of all, secondly, thirdly, finally, then, after that, these are examples of transitions. speak loudly-you don't want to mumble, you don't want to shy, you want to be confidence. so, Be confident, make eye contact, and practice talking for 2 minutes, don't cross limit, not too fast not too slow. In this section, mostly past tense is very important because you talk about past experiences.
